The Electronic National ID Card (eNID)project isa major e.Gov initiative started by MCIT in 2010.Electronic National ID Card system will serve as one of the major pillars of e-Government in Afghanistan and scale up the efficiency of the government in providing services to citizens, paving the ground for change in the national, social and administrative environment by laying the infrastructure to extract concise, timely and relevant information.This project is jointly implemented by MCIT &ACCRA;.
Job Summary
Electrical engineer will be involved with designing, installation, developing and maintaining electrical control systems, machinery and equipment. The electrical Engineer will be reporting to the Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• To assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electrical equipment appliances with use of power tools.
To assist connect wires to circuit Breakers, transformers, UPS,
• Testing and installation of grounding system, power control panel installation, generators and other components.
• Knowledge and depth understanding of ATS, AVR,
• Have practical experience in HVAC, and air filtering
• Test electrical system and continuity of circuits of electrical wiring equipment and fixtures
• To perform effective troubleshooting to identify or malfunctions and repair or substitutes damaged units,
• Prepare and assemble conduit and connect wiring though them, event breakdown of system by routinely inspection and replacing old wiring and insulated cable cleaning circuits … etc.
• To perform troubleshoot reported problem and machinery, equipment maintained and repaired.
Skills
• Having a strong working knowledge of national electrical codes and safety measures
• Have experience in HVAC, ATS, AVR and air filtering.
• Ability to work under tough condition
• Having a high level of mental and physical aptitude
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree from Technical University.
• Having Diploma degree or certificate program in the field
• Taking specialized courses in residential and commercial wiring practices and
• Having a strong working knowledge of national electrical codes and safety measures.
• Have experience in HVAC, ATS, AVR and air filtering.
• Ability to work under tough condition
• Having a high level of mental and physical aptitude
