AFTEL found some Technical problems in procurement proceedings of this project, therefore, the decision is taken to cancel the project based on Article 25 of Procurement Law of Afghanistan as mentioned below: “The entity may reject all bids prior to contract award or cancel the procurement proceedings to maintain national interest in accordance with the provisions of this Law. In this case the reason for rejecting or canceling the procurement proceedings shall be noted in the records of the procurement proceedings and promptly communicated officially to all bidders”.

Note: AFTEL will arrange to solve the technical problems and Re-advertise the project as soon as possible
