Minister of Communications and Information Technology meets with media officials

Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryobee, met with representatives of the journalists' community and media officials on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

Minister Aryobee shared views about the activities and achievements of MCIT, as well as talked in details the future plans of the ministry pertaining to strengthening the telecommunications sector and urged for bilateral co-operation between the Ministry and the mass media.

Shahzad Aryobee stated: that Media is the common language of a society.

"We are committed to the laws, freedom of expression and the principle of access to information, and we work in the light of the country's laws for sharing information with the people," he added.
