Eng. Syed Ahamd Shah Sadaat meets with the Ambassador of China

Engineer Syed Ahmed Shah Sadat, acting minister of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology met with the Chinese ambassador Mr. Yao Jing on Sunday, August 7, 2017 in his office.

First, both side discussed the agreement between Afghanistan and China in detail, which includes connecting the fiber optics of Afghanistan and China through Vakhan-Badakhshan, building information technology training centers in five zones, and cooperation to establish and install a satellite for Afghanistan.

The survey of the project from -Vakhan-Badakhshan which is 480 kilometers long to the border of China has been completed by the Afghanistan, then Eng.  Syed Ahmad Shah Sadaat emphasized on the need for mutually reinforcing cooperation, saying that with concerted efforts we can put the project into operation as soon as possible.

The Chinese Ambassador also pledged further cooperation in the development of the telecommunications sector.
