Information and Communication Technology Institute Commencement-2015
Ministry of Communications & IT (MCIT) distributed Academic certificates to 39 students graduated from the Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI). They received Bachelor Degree Certificates by the delegation of MCIT during the ceremony which was held at Conference hall of the ICTI on Monday 19th 2014.
The event, was participated by Deputy technical and acting Minister of MCIT Eng. Baryalay Hassam, Board of Directors of MCIT, parents of the graduated students and mass media representatives.
At the beginning Chancellor of ICTI, Mr. Mohammad Shafeh Sharifi welcomed the guests and all participants, he congratulates the graduated students and said: the graduation is a turning point in the lives of students. He continued it is a great pleasure that once again we were able to dedicate young professionals for serving the country.
He mentioned that ICTI has been working under the rules and regulation of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and follows up the curriculum of MoHE. He showed his keen interest and happiness by providing 39 young students for serving the Afghan society in the field of Information Technology. And also he heartedly appreciated MCIT, ATRA and Afghan Telecom for their financial support with ICTI.
After that acting Minister of MCIT, Eng. Baryalay Hassam congratulated the graduated students and their families and Said:
“I am delighted participating once again in IT commencement ceremony. We are proud of that the 39 students are graduated as engineers and IT experts to serve the country. Now, it is time to move forward ICT development, progress and prosperity of our society and citizens.
Eng. Hassam mentioned: modern era is the era of science of Information technology and it is important to improve the Quality of Education in this field, young generation equipped with high level of knowledge and modern technology can make it possible to reach highest peaks of progress. And called on all public and private telecommunication companies to recruit and appoint newly graduated afghan cadres.
Eng. Hassam said: that MCIT seeks to provide context of mastering higher level of education for students of ICTI.
At the end of the ceremony one of the graduated student thanked MCIT and pledged to pay more serious attention to their studies and duties.
