Minister of Communications and Information Technology meets ITU Secretary General

Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Shazad Aryobee met with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) secretary general Mr. Houlin Zhao in his office on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

During the meeting, both sides talked about the development and Challenges of the ICT sector in Afghanistan.  

Mr. Zhao expressing his satisfaction of rapid growth of ICT sector in Afghanistan said: that the aim of his visit to Afghanistan is to assess the situation of communications and information technology in Afghanistan. He also committed ITU’s further cooperation with MCIT in the line of strengthening the telecommunications and information technology sector in Afghanistan.
