MCIT signs agreement of creation digital library with MoHE

Ministry of Communications and Information Technology signed the agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education in order to create a digital library for the ministry of Higher Education on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

Based on this agreement, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will create a digital library with a capacity of more than 10 million books for the Ministry of Higher Education, which will be completed and used in the next four months.

Aforementioned library, would be furnished with digitalized books and scientific works, academic articles and materials, and people, both local citizens and foreigners, could have online access to the materials they need.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology would be responsible for maintenance and taking care of the above mentioned digital center for two years, In addition, in order to keep the system active, MCIT would undertake training professional individuals of the MoHE and then will be fully rendered to the Ministry of Higher Education.
