Acting minister of MCIT meets with representatives of Darwaz District

Engineer Syed Ahmad Shah Sadat, acting Minister of MCIT, met with the district governor and representatives of Darwaz district on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.

Speaking on behalf of the people in the district, the District governor of Darwaze Bala; Mr. Kambiz Qorbani, presented the problems of the people in field of the telecommunications sector. He stated that Darwaze-Bala district has 72 villages with 35, 000 inhabitants, where there operates only one telecommunication antenna which covers the entire district and cannot resolve telecommunication needs of the people.

In order to address the telecommunication problems thoroughly Eng. Sadaat undertook the installation two towers of Salaam Telecommunications Company in the near future. And also directed the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (ATRA) to establish devices of other telecommunication networks in cooperation with the Telecommunication Development Fund (TDF).
