Afghanistan’s ICT Sector Development Project

Selection of Financial Management Specialist for Afghanistan ICT Sector Development Project (Project ID P121755-PPF 744 AF; Contract Package ID PPF/C6), for which TOR was published on the Websites of ACBAR and MCIT on 23 Nov, 2010.

This is to inform all concerned that Mr. Muhibullah Sahibjan Ghazi; Resident of: Apartment # 33, Block 9, Macroryan 4, Kabul, Afghanistan  stands selected for the advertized FMS position. Details are given as under:-

1.  Consultants shortlisted for the FMS Post: 1-Mr. Muhibullah Sahibjan Ghazi of Kabul; 2-Mr. Sohrabi Ahad of Kabul; 3- Mr. Abdul Wahab of Afghanistan (currently staying in London).
2.  Consultants interviewed for the FMS Post: 1-Mr. Muhibullah Sahibjan Ghazi of Kabul; 2-Mr. Sohrabi Ahad of Kabul; 3- Mr. Abdul Wahab of Afghanistan (currently staying in London and thus, he was interviewed on telephone).

3.  Technical Points assigned to each Consultant who were interviewed by the Selection Committee of MCIT: 1-Mr. Muhibullah Sahibjan Ghazi -88 %; 2-Mr. Sohrabi Ahad -76.25 %; 3- Mr. Abdul Wahab-70.75 %.

4.  Final Point Rankings of the Consultants, based on Technical and Financial Criteria: First: Mr. Muhibullah Sahibjan Ghazi; Second: Mr. Sohrabi Ahad; Third: Mr. Abdul Wahab.

5.  Details of the Winning Candidate:  Mr. Muhibullah Sahibjan Ghazi is the winning Consultant, with a Contract Price of Afghani 3, 75,000 for 3 months—1, 25,000 Afs per month (all inclusive, including Taxes) for 03 Months of initial contract period under PPA. He will provide the Financial Management Support for Afghanistan's ICT Sector Development Project.
