The ITU Secretary General visits Information Technology Institute of Afghanistan

The Secretary General of ITU along with the minister of Communications and Information Technology Shazad Aryobee visited the Information and Technology Institute of Afghanistan (ICTI) on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

While visiting various departments and the institute's lab Mr. Zao, said that he would provide comprehensive and sustainable assistance to the Afghan telecommunications and technology sector. He expressed hope that Afghanistan will gain full membership of the international Telecommunication Union.

In his speech to the Institute’s professors, minister Aryobee said: that MCIT supports their activities in order to transform this educational institution into an important research center.
