Minister of Communications and Information Technology participates the Session of Higher Economic Council

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryobee participated at the session of Higher Economic Council which was held under the auspices of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H.E. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

The session heard MCIT’s plan about reducing the price of Dark Fiber presented by Minister Shahzad Aryobee, and also the extension of the license for telecommunications companies, the problems of the telecommunications sector and proposed solutions were discussed.

Subsequently, the session decided that the final decision on determination fees of extension would be taken at a meeting in presence of H.E. the president, the second vice president and the chief executive officer and as well as representatives of telecommunications companies.
