MCIT holds meeting on HOSA Project with telecom companies

The session under the presidency of Engineer Syed Ahmad Shah Sadat, acting minister of MCIT, was held at his working Office, with representatives of telecommunication companies, heads and advisers of the Ministry of Communications, on the HOSA project, which provides mobile services to the citizens of the country.

First, a comprehensive report was presented by the director of the e-government on the implementation of the HOSA project, how to provide services and creating facilities, management, supervision and comparative plans.

Then the minister Eng.  Syed Ahmad Shah Sadaat expressed that the implementation of this project leads Afghanistan to a digital country and, on the other hand, it will provide additional required facilities for the citizens. He emphasized that it is necessary the telecommunications companies to keep up with the Ministry of Communications.

In terms of providing mobile services, telecom companies pledged to provide every kind of cooperation.
Subsequently Minister Sadaat Instructed the comparative plans to be conducted and HOSA services (mobile services) needs to be activated as soon as possible in accordance with the requirements of the departments.
