Acting Minister Baryalay Hassam visits to Afghan Telecom Corporation
Acting and Deputy Technical Minister of MCIT Eng. Baryalay Hassam visited leadership body of Afghan Telecom Company at a meeting that was held in Afghan Telecom Corporation conference Room on Saturday December 5th 2014.
At the beginning of the meeting Chairman of Afghan Telecom Corporation Mr. Rastman presented full reports about the issues, activities of Afghan Telecom projects. He presented his reports in two (Wired and GSM) parts.
The wired part included the 18000 lined project of Ahmad Shah Baba, 6000 lined project of Omed Sabz, 5000 lined project of Shindand and Fiber Optic of Khost and Gardez cities and the second part of the report included the GSM projects (completion of first phase and ongoing the second
Phase of GSM), extension of 3G, 6th, 7th and 8th TDF projects.
Then Eng. Hassam spoke about the relevant issues and encouraged the leadership of Afghan Telecom Corporation to serious attention to their tasks. He said: the Afghan Telecom is one of the largest telecom company of the country and operate in lined and GSM parts, thus its activities must accord signed contracts and Afghan Sat should be also paid serious attention.
Eng. Hassam emphasized about the addressing and solving the problems of the company and said: that the DSL problems must be solved and contractors who work in each direction, must be seriously pursuit. He also said that: the presented information by inspection committee must be accurate and reliable.
