Salaam Network Activities & Challenges

Dear countrymen! Thank you for your interest sharing your information in the problems and activities of Salaam network with me.

I would like to introduce you some information about Salaam network in brief.

The number of subscribers in Salaam GSM & 3G network reaches 650000 and it increases day by day.  But in the meantime it has its problems, as you know the network is newly launched, it is normal in terms of weakness of antenna, quality service and internet speed. A month ago, for dealing with these challenges and improving the quality of network Ministry of Communication & IT (MCIT) signed a contract. Currently there are 391 active telecommunication towers and 700 other towers are under work.

For deprived and remote areas it is set, that 145 towers in first phase and 188 towers in second phase to be installed through Telecommunications Development Fund (TDF).

It is promising by installing the towers and investment of 100 million more dollars network coverage and service quality would be better.
