Cooperation between Afghan Post & M- PAISA / Roshan Company
In order to deliver monetary and financial services, a cooperation contract was signed between Afghan Post and Roshan telecommunication Company on 13 October 2013 in a joint conference at Afghan Post conference hall.
The conference was attended by chairman of Afghan Post and representatives of Roshan Telecom Company and media.
First Bano Shereen Rahmani delivered information about the activities and functions of M- PAISA and said: Now, M-Paisa customers in Afghanistan can receive Western Union Mobile Transfer transactions from their families around the world directly into their M-Paisa wallets. Western Union's Mobile Money Transfer service is available in many countries around the world. M-Paisa offers safe, reliable and fast access to a range of financial services anywhere in Afghanistan including:
- Person to person money transfer.
- Disbursement and repayment of microfinance loans.
- Airtime purchases.
- Bill payments.
- Disbursement and receipt of salaries.
- Receive money from abroad with Western Union
- Then chairman of Afghan Post Mr. Ahmad Wahid Wais expressed: that launching activities of this kind and cooperation with Roshan Telecom Company is of great value and it will effect positively in socio- economic life of our people. He also mentioned that both sides are determined besides national services to deliver international services with connection to Western Union international Network.
