H.E Wahabbudin Sadaat officially Visits Republic Turkey

Deputy Admin & Finance Minister of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT)   Wahabbudin Sadaat leading a high delegation, officially visited to Republic Turkey from 20-26 January 2013.

In his trip to Republic Turkey Sadaat and his companion delegation met with deputy of Turkey Ministry of Transport Maritime Affairs and Communications Mr. Yahya Bas. The purpose of the meeting was strengthening of the relation and development and mobilization of Post sector and signing document regarding cooperation in technical and vocational fields.
Mr. Sadaat gave detailed information about the development and achievement of Afghanistan in the field of ICT and discussing mutual interest with his counterpart mainly focused on strengthening Postal relations and providing technological cooperation between two countries.

Both deputy ministers Wahabbudin Sadaat and Yahya Bas signed document of bilateral technical and professional cooperation in the field of Postal and ICT affairs between Afghanistan and Republic Turkey.

The parties agreed to implement the following issues

• Mutual cooperation in training staff related to the post and post financial services.
• Information about latest changes in modern and contemporary technology.
• Sharing information related to the implementation of the signed agreement.
• Sharing experiences and mutual support issues.
• Cooperation in money order services.
• Appointing experts for improving mail, parcel and express post services.
• Providing transit service facilities to a third country.
  The delegation also visit postal facilities in Istanbul city and met officials of Turk Cell Company and Turkish International cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) and shared experiences and views on development of e-government and m-government.
