Signing Memorandum of Understanding on protection people with disabilities and heirs of martyrs

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with State Ministry on Disabled and Martyrs’ Affairs aiming to support and to meet the needs and problems of people with disabilities and heirs of martyrs on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
Deputy (Admin and Finance) Minister Dr. Mohammad Hadi Hedayati on behalf of the MCIT signed the memorandum of understanding in the presence of Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah.
The purpose of signed memorandum is to deal with the problems of people with disabilities and heirs of martyrs, creates facilities, job opportunities, empowerment, to deliver timely and better services considering the principle of equality and non-discrimination.
It is worth mentioning that 29 ministries and government departments including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology signed such a memorandum of understanding to address the problems of persons with disabilities.
The relevant institutions are obligated to implement the provisions of the memorandum and provide equal and appropriate opportunities for people with disabilities.
