The new Acting Minister has been introduced to staff of MCIT
Masooma Khawari, the new Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, was introduced to the staff of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology by H. E. Professor Mohammad Sarwar Danish the Second Vice President.
The introductory ceremony was attended by senior government officials, politicians, and members of the National Assembly, media representatives, and ministry staff.
In his speech, His Excellency Sarwar Danish described the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as one of the most essential and revenue-generating departments of the government, which serves as a bridge between the public and private sectors to access the latest achievements in the field of technology.
He expressed hope that with the coming of the new leadership and the continuation of previous programs, the goals of e-government and digitalization of government offices would be implemented in the coming years.
Then, Masooma Khawari, Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, expressing her gratitude and appreciation for the trust of the government leadership spoke about her plans for the future of the Ministry.
Minister Khawari referring to the services of leadership and employees of the Ministry of over the past years said that the new leadership, in line with the existing plans of the Ministry, will implement new plans and programs to develop the information technology and telecommunications sector, establish e-government.
She promised to make all-out efforts in the fight against corruption and discrimination. Former Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mr. Mohammad Fahim Hashimi congratulated the new Acting Minister Masooma Khawari, committing any cooperation in the future, wished her success in her endeavors.
