MCIT Introduces Aimal Marjan as a Deputy Minister IT
Considering the need of correct and timely delivery high quality of IT services; and the need for effective use of ICT benefits; attracting investment to strengthen the economy and development of ICT industry in the country MCIT proposed creation of IT deputy minister and was approved by presidency of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Mr. Mohammad Aimal Marjan newly appointed as a deputy minister of IT, was officially introduced by minister of MCIT H. E. Amirzai Sanging in an official ceremony, which was held at MCIT’s conference room on Monday 23 December 2013.
The conference was attended by H. E. Amirzai Sangin, deputy ministers, leadership body and employees of MCIT, members of the two houses of the Parlemaint, represintatives of telecom companies and mass media.
At the begining, minister Sangin congratulated Mr. Marjan on occasion of his new duty as a IT deputy minister of MCIT.
There is no dout that the world now is moving towards modern technoloty and we have taken important and profitible steps in this field; and we have achieved successes dlivering telecom, technology and internet services, we have promoted toward creating e- government, health and education facilities, but is not suficient for the war torn country and in this regard we reiterate our commitments to transform Afghanistan into Information Society. Said Amirzai Sangin. He continued that Mr. Marjan has worked as Head of IT, then Director General of IT and now as IT deputy minister of MCIT. He was able and resourceful in his services and activities.
Subsequently, H. E. minister of Frontiers, Nation and Tribes and Hon. Sahib Khan member of telecommunication commission of Parliament congratulated Mr. Marjan and wished him more successes in his future work.
In conclusion, honorable Aimal Marjan thanked presidency of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, leadership Authority of MCIT on their trust; and said I promise, by the grace of Allah and honest cooperation of my colleagues I will do all my might in the path of service and will not spare any effort in this field.
