Cement fences around the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology were removed

By the direction of Mohammed Fahim Hashimi acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology the cement walls were removed from around the ministry building.

Minister Hashemi described the removal of cement walls from the Ministry of Communications and Technology building a step towards beautifying Kabul city and reducing traffic overcrowding.

“Removing the cement walls around the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology indicates that no threat can destroy the beauty of Kabul city," he said.

In terms of employees’ security, minister Hashimi said that "The protection of the staff of MCIT is important and by building a stone wall we have paid serious attention to it,”

Minister of MCIT also said, "We hope that the officials of other ministries and government and non-government institutions will also realize that the beauty of Kabul city is directly linked to the spirit of the residents of the city."

The construction of the stone wall took almost six months and cost less than ten million Afghanis.
