BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF Mirwais Naikmal

Mr. Mirwais Naikmal is currently serving the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) Afghanistan as Plan and Policy Director. He has completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) and has been working with National and International organizations for the last 15 years in different capacities.

In terms of professional engagements, he is currently working on drafting the new scope of work for MCIT, the development of Afghanistan ICT roadmap for 2020- 2024, and the broadband policy and plan for 2020-2024.

Mr. Naikmal is also a member of the committee that will be working on the development of standards and policies for the ICT and Telecom sectors.
