Acting minister of Communications and IT meets with Afghan Telecom officials

Mohammad Fahim Hashimi acting minister of Communications and Information Technology met with officials of the Afghan Telecom company on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed the financial status and future plans of the Afghan Telecom Company.
While emphasizing on reducing the company's costs minister Hashimi instructed the Afghan Telecom officials to improving quality and delivering balanced telecom services.
Mohammad Fahim Hashemi added that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology intends to work in close coordination with Internet service providers (ISP) and reduce the Internet rate to the ISP provided the companies decrease it to the customers.
Minister Hashimi directed the Afghan Telecom officials to reach agreement with the ATRA and Internet service companies and implement the bill of price reductions as soon as possible.
