Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology Meets With Chinese Ambassador

Mohammad Fahim Hashimi acting minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) met with Mr. Wang Yu, the Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan.

In this meeting both sides discussed the number of issues related to the Wakhan Corridor, Bandwidth, Fiber Optic, E-Commerce, Telecommunication Equipment, Boosting the Quality of Telecommunication Services of Chinese Government Companies, which are working in Afghanistan.

Minister Hashimi, while thanking the Chinese Ambassador, said that we are ready to cooperate with reputable telecommunication Chinese companies.

Mr. Wang Yu noted that China's Internet Service Provider (ISP) Companies should invest in Afghanistan because the Ministry of Communications of Afghanistan has provided a better environment for investment and a huge opportunity to take advantage.
