The Seventh Inception Collaboration of Afghan Telecom
Seventh anniversary of Afghan Telecom Company officially celebrated in Intercontinental Hotel on 19th February 2013.
The event was attended by Minister of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) Amirzai Sangin along with executive leadership of MCIT, leadership and members of Afghan Telecom, representatives of Parliament and media.
First chairman of Afghan Telecom Mr. Gul Ahmad Rastman welcomed the participants and said: that the company has established according 20 decree of President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. He mentioned that besides Fiber Optic cable and other means of communications Afghan Telecom executive board has made decision to put into operation GSM and 3G internet technologies for further improved and better telecommunication and internet services.
Then minister of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) H. E. Amirzai Sangin congratulated Afghan Telecom on valuable achievements and delivering better telecommunication and mobile services in the country and also he expressed his pleasure for celebrating anniversary of Afghan Telecom Company in Afghanistan. He added: that Afghan Telecom is the only governmental telecommunication company in the country and has provided remarkable communication and Internet services. It is a self-sufficient telecommunication entity and has gained 3 billion Afghani revenues in 9 months of 1391. H. E. Amirzai Sangin instructed required and necessary directions for further advanced facilities and better services.
At the end leadership board of Afghan Telecom presented gifts to former and retired staffs of the company and appreciated their services.
