The RFI, which was announced in connection with the project to establish a ground station and lease satellite capacity, was again extended until February 15, 2026, at the request of domestic and foreign companies.
For this reason, MCIT hereby invites qualified and experienced international companies, satellite service providers and solution providers to submit technical, financial, and operational information in response to this Request for Information (RFI) for the following project:
Establishment of a Satellite Ground Station (Hub Station) & Leasing of Scalable Satellite Capacity
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to collect technical insights and identify feasible solutions for strengthening Afghanistan’s satellite communication infrastructure in order to support and enhance national telecommunication services across the country. Vendors may submit responses to one or both parts of this RFI.
