President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani: Our economy needs to be digitized

The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H.E. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with participants of the 15th Conference on Information Technology and Digitization on Saturday, December 21, 2019.
H. E. President Ghani stating that a national program for information technology will be included in this year's budget said that "We have a clear blueprint for water nationwide and should be digitally managed,”
Then, in terms of the information technology policy the minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Fahim Hashimi said that "We have studied the many of models under the direction of H. E. the President and we intend by using the information technology to bring changes in all aspects of life."
He said "An important issue we are dealing with is the digital economy and we must use our information and we should not be deprived of the value of information.”
