PBX Telephone System inaugurates in Aliabad Teaching Hospital
The PBX telephone system for internal communication of departments in Aliabad Teaching Hospital officially opened by deputy Minister Technical of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Eng. Baryalay Hassam and Minister of Higher Education Obaidullah Obaid during a press conference at operating building of the Hospital on Sunday 8th September, 2013.
A PBX telephone system with its 200 lines has been installed to the Hospital by Afghan Telecom Company.
At the beginning chairman of Teaching Hospital welcomed participants and expressed appreciation for the cooperation of MCIT to the Hospital. He said: that the Teaching Hospital is a large hospital with multiple departments, it was difficult to connect them and to day this problem is solved with close cooperation of MCIT.
Then Minister of Higher Education Obaidullah Obaid mentioned communication and technological growth in the country and said: that we are connected many private and government Universities of the country through Fiber Optic due to cooperation of MCIT; with this major part of our problems are solved; and every weak we conduct video conference with 21 Universities, which are connected through Fiber Optic.
Then speaking about the achievements in the field of Communication and IT deputy technical minister of MCIT Eng. Baryalay Hassam said: it is a place of honor that MCIT take another step toward service and dealing with problems in academic environment of the country.
Eng. Hassam noted: that MCIT efforts to deliver services in Telecommunication and IT sector that will close the gaps in Afghanistan. He assured authorities of the Hospital and MoE of more cooperation in the field of communication and IT.
At the end head of Kabul Medical University Professor Zarif also appreciated MCIT’s cooperation and wished its further success in serving the people.
