Ministry of Communications and IT endeavors to solve telecom problems in the country

Mohammad Fahim Hashimi acting minister of Communications and Information Technology met with representatives of a number of telecommunication companies and officials of the Afghanistan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA) on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
While thanking the private companies for investment in the telecommunications sector, minister Hashimi encouraged them to delivering better services and further investment in this field.
The meeting mainly focused on improving telecommunication services, sound quality, reducing prices, controlling and regulating telecom services.
Telecom companies’ representatives and ATRA officials emphasizing on their commitment to collaborate have shared information about the quality of telecommunications services, improving customer service, and the provision of services.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology intends to hold a joint meeting with all telecom companies and authorities next week for resolving any serious problems.
