Ministry of Communications and Information Technology emphasizes Internet price reduction

Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Fahim Hashimi met with Deputy (Technical) Director of Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA) Eng. Naqibullah Sailab on Saturday, January 18, 2020.

Emphasizing on reducing Internet prices, at the meeting, minister Hashimi said: "All telecommunication companies should work over reducing the prices of the Internet by reducing extra and sub-costs.

Deputy technical director of ATRA Administration Eng. Naqibullah Sailab then announced a new regulation on this connection, which will result in a significant reduction in the major Internet prices of telecommunications companies.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides pledged to fully cooperate with all telecommunications companies to reduce Internet prices.
