Minister of Communications & IT Amirzai Sangin Official Visits- Pakitak Province

According decree 45 of President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H. E. Hamid Karzai, Minister of Communication & IT (MCIT) H. E.  Amirzai Sangin visited Paktika Province leading a high profile delegation on Saturday 9 February 2013.

 In his visit Amirzai Sangin participated the administrative meeting, which was attended by members of Provincial council, tribal elders and dignitaries.

First the Governor of Paktika Mr. Mohibullah Samim welcoming the guests spoke about development, achievements and existing problems in the province. 

 Then Minister of MCIT Sangin gave detailed information about development programs of MCIT pertaining remote areas of the country and pledged to provide better communication and information facilities to the remote area of the province. He urged; continuously, we will endeavor, further to develop information technology across the country. He mentioned that  Paktika Province will be connected to Kabul by Fiber Optic through Ghazni and Gardiz in near future.

It is mentionable that Minister Sangin and his company delegation visited Orgoon District of the Paktika.   Sangin met with local officials and pointed out existing challenges of the locality, said: insecurity is the main problem, and expressed hope the problems will be solved soon.

At the end H. E. Amirzai Sangin visited telecommunication and Information Technology Institutes of the Province and directed required instructions.
