A meeting was held on how to transfer the movable and immovable property of the Afghan Post Company
The meeting that took place yesterday afternoon discussed the modality of the transfer of movable and immovable properties of the Afghan Post Company.
The meeting was participated by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Masoma Khavari, the Deputy (Policy and Programs) Minister Ahmad Massood Latif Rai, the heads of the relevant departments of MCIT, the Deputy Director of Afghan Post, representatives of the Presidential Administration, Ministry of Finance and the Supreme Audit Office.
At the meeting, the relevant departments’ representatives presented their performance reports over the transfer of movable and immovable property of Afghan Post Company.
Having heard the reports of the representatives of the mentioned departments, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said that the process of transferring the property of Afghan Post should have started long ago and following the decree of the President, unfortunately, this has not been done.
Minister Khavari stated that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has made the necessary cooperation during the current year to continue the services of this company.
At the end of the meeting, minister Khawari instructed the related authorities to transfer all movable property of Afghan Post to the company by presidential decree and the transfer of immovable property should be done under the relevant rules and regulations.
