MCIT’s Notice on Selection of Training Institutes for providing “IT Training”,
Packages C 3.X.1,2,3 of Afghanistan ICT Sector Development Project of MCIT

This is to inform all concerned that the following Training Institutes have been selected for conducting IT Training under ICT Skills Development program of MCIT: |
(a) Aptech Limited - India with Office at House; A-65; MIDC Marol; Andheri East; Mumbai; India;
(b) Rana Institute of Higher Studies with Office at Charaie Baraki; Parwane II; Kabul-Afghanistan;
(c) Higher Education Institute of Karwan, with Office Near the last Bus Stop of Kabul University, District-3; Kabul- Afghanistan.
Details are given as under:-
(1) Institutes who submitted their Technical and Financial Proposals:
(a) Aptech Limited -India (Having their branch Office at Kabul)
(b) Rana Institute of Higher Studies, Kabul
(c) Higher Education Institute of Karwan, Kabul,
(d) Bakhtar Institue of Higher Education, Kabul
(e) Kateb Institue of Higher Education, Kabul
(2) Technical Points & Ranks awarded to each Institute:
(a) Aptech India - 91 Points out of 100 (Rank-I)
(b) Rana Institute of Higher Studies - 86.50 Points out of 100 (Rank-II)
(c) Higher Education Institute of Karwan, Kabul- 82 Points out of 100 (Rank-III)
(d) Bakhtar Institue of Higher Education, Kabul- 78.00 Points out of 100[ Rank-IV]
(e) Kateb Institue of Higher Education, Kabul- 76.00 Points out of 100 [Rank-V]
(3) Financial Scores and Final Rankings:
Being Selection based on Fixed Budget (FBS), Technical Scores are the final Scores and the Final Rankings also remain as per the Technical Rankings as given above.
(4) Contract Prices:
(a) Aptech Limited- India: 400,000 USD + Applicable tax in Afghanistan = 430,107.52 USD (b) Rana Institute of Higher Sudies: 400,000 USD+Applicable tax in Afghanistan= 408,163.26 USD
(c) Higher Education Institute of Karwan, Kabul: 400,000 USD+Applicable tax in Afghanistan= 408,163.26 USD
(5) Duration of the Contract: 16 Months [in 16 Months time Span, each Institute to conduct two Training Courses, each of 04 months duration].
(6) Summary Scope of the Contract:
Under the Project , three Institutes will provide IT Training to 1050 IT Professionals at Kabul. A total of 1,050 IT professionals will be trained in next 16 months of 2014 and 2015. Each Institute will train 350 students, having 175 students per course. Each Institute will conduct 02 courses, with the duration for each course as 04 months.
