Information and Communication Technology Institute Commencement 2013

 Academic certificates were distributed to 49 students graduated from the Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI). They received Bachelor Degree Certificates by the delegation of Ministry of Communications & IT during the ceremony which was held at Qasre Setaraha Hotel on Tuesday December 24, 2013.

The mentioned ceremony, was participated by His Excellency Amirzai Sangin Minister of Communications & Information Technology(MCIT), Board of Directors of MCIT, Chancellors of Afghan Universities, Members of Mishra no Jirga and Wolasi Jirga, and media representatives.

At the beginning Chancellor of ICTI, Mr. Mohammad Shafeh Sharifi welcomed the guests and all participants, he congratulates the graduated students. He said:  It is a great pleasure of mine that ICTI has been working under the rules and regulation of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and follows up the curriculum of MoHE. He showed his keen interest and happiness by providing 49 young students for serving the Afghan society in the field of Information Technology. And also he heartedly appreciated MCIT, ATRA and Afghan Telecom for their financial support with ICTI.

Later His Excellency Minister of MCIT, Amirzai Sangin congratulated the graduated students and their families and Said:

“I am delighted participating once again in IT commencement ceremony. We are proud that the 49 students are graduated as engineers and IT experts to serve the country. Now, it is time to move forward ICT development, progress and prosperity of our society and citizens.

“Minister of MCIT mentioned: modern era is the era of science of Information technology and it is important to improve the Quality of Education in this field, young generation equipped with high level of knowledge and modern technology can make it possible to reach high peaks of progress. And called on all public and private telecommunication companies to recruit and appoint newly graduated afghan cadres.

At the end of the ceremony one of the graduated student thanked the minister and leadership of MCIT and pledged to pay more serious attention to their studies and duties.
