Fast Postal services agreement signs
An agreement of fast postal services signed between Ministry of Communication and IT (MCIT) and four private postal services companies in press conference at MCIT on Monday 1/10/2012.
H. E. Wahabuddin Sadaat Deputy finance & Admin minister of MCIT participated in a press conference along with chairman of Afghan Postal Regulatory authority (APRA), leadership of the Ministry, representatives of Post services private companies, mass media.
Mr. Sadaat addressing the press conference said that the MCIT is trying to modernize the provision of postal service system. He lighted; according the agreement four private (T.N.T, D.H.L, FEDEX, and MOVE ON LOGESTIC) companies provide postal services to five provinces (Kabul, Kandahar, Ninagarhar, Hirat, and Kundoz).
Mr. Wahabudin Sadaat stated that every letter from origin to reference will be received in 72 hours and the 15% revenue of these companies will be transferred to government budget and this is the only inexpensive way of transfer documents and other objects.
