Expanding Mobile Salary Payment Service

Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Shahzad Aryobee signed an agreement on the payment salaries through mobile with the acting Minister of Education, Dr. Mirwais Balkhi and also signed separate contracts with Afghan wireless and Roshan telecommunication companies to provide technical support for this process on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology expressed that according to contracts the Afghan Wireless Communications Company (AWCC) covers 32,000 employees and Roshan telecommunications company covers about 70,000 government employees or teachers.
Through these services, transparency would be realized, and government employees and teachers can easily and quickly receive their salaries in cities and districts, and we want our beloved country Afghanistan to be comparable to the countries of the region and its neighbors.
The Mobile Salary Payments (MSP) is a reform and one of the tools for digitization and financial reinforcement in Afghanistan. The Afghan government is determined to expand the MSP project in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
