Comprehensive agreements for improving telecommunication and internet services

Mohammad Fahim Hashimi acting minister of Communications and Information Technology met with officials of the Afghanistan Telecom Regulatory Authority (ATRA) Office on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
In the meeting, both sides discussed the people's problems and the way of solutions to the challenges.
Minister of MCIT clarified the position of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and urged for solutions the problems of price and quality of telecommunication and Internet services.
ATRA's officials, presented their plans for improving service quality and decreasing the cost of internet and telecommunication services and pledged that their technical teams would work in these areas and will address all the problems as soon as possible.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology promised to support their plans, saying that the ministry of Communications and IT would not hesitate to cooperate with ATRA Administration in this regard.
