ITB 7.4

A Pre-Bid meeting will take place at the following date, time and place:

Time: 14:00 hours Local Kabul time

Place: 3rd Floor, MCIT’s building, Mohammad Jan Khan Watt, Kabul

Bidders’ Representatives are requested to attend this Meeting after having completed 100 % Survey of the Routes and the Communication Nodes. Variances noted to the BOQ as given in Schedule-1 will also be discussed during the Pre-Bid Meeting.

Bidders are requested to submit their Survey Plans to MCIT. MCIT will nominate a Representative to accompany the Bidders’ Survey Teams. Costs on account of the Survey are to be borne by the Bidders.

The bid validity period shall be one hundred and twenty (120) days, after the Bid Opening Date; i.e. up to 07 February, 2012.

ITB 20.1

Bid shall include a bid security of at least USD 500,000(Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency) in the form of unconditional bank guarantee included in Section IV, Bidding Forms. The bank guarantee shall remain valid for a period of 148 days after bid opening date; i.e. up to 27 February, 2012.
