Signing Memorandum of Understanding on the Modernization of Postal Infrastructure between the Afghan Post and the Europarcel Private Post Company
An agreement on the modernization of postal infrastructure was signed between the Afghan Post Administration of the MCIT and the Europarcel private Postal service Company at the post office of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology on Monday, April 16, 2018.
The agreement is based on the provisions of the laws of the country.
The objective of agreement is to modernize the postal infrastructure, growth and development postal services in the country, to transfer postal packages from Kabul city to the provinces and vice versa using the transportation facilities of the Europarcel private company, and also to create better diversity in postal services by means of free of cost financial , technical and advisory services cooperation, of express postal service private company, which will lead to facilitation working process and better delivery of service.
