Job Description:
The proposed system Content Management System (CMS) was considered after reviewing the functional and technical challenges experience by Afghanistan National Data Center. There is a requirement of disintegrated but scalable system which allows to centralize management as well as central control for future upgrades and updates. The main objective of this job to manage, maintain and develop the existing CMS.
Responsible for maintaining proper flow of the project Information Technology system by providing different solutions and support for hardware and software problems.
• Installing the racks, servers, Cisco Routers, Cisco switches, Power distribution units and UPS’s.
• Maintenance Backup and Cloud Infrastructure project equipment in good condition and repair, cable fabrication, cable terminating and installation
• Maintain Backup and Cloud Infrastructure project network in good function and provided installations, testing, troubleshooting, Data Backup & recovery.
• Ensure the maintenance of Backup and Cloud Infrastructure project equipment in good condition and repair, cable fabrication, cable terminating and installation as well as Site survey, planning, installation & site maintenance
• Ensure, maintain, administrate and secured of the above hardware equipment and resolved unforeseen network problems of WAN and LAN connectivity
• Ensure functional of IT system included Computers, Servers, Firewall, Switches and Routers
• Maintained up to date inventory of all Backup and Cloud Infrastructure project Network equipment.
• Assisted procurement department with specifications for purchase of technical equipment
• Scheduled upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
• Conducted technical training for staff members on the using of Network and communication equipment;
• Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on time;
• Assist in maintaining contact with service contractor and keep track on follow-up action or progress of services
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures;
• Ability to coordinate among multiple stakeholders and provide training and mentoring.
• Should have managerial experience
• Evaluate and modify system's performance.
• Any other tasks assign by the department
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of working with MikroTik routers, also hands-on experience with Cisco WSA, Cisco ISE.
Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN’s)
Routing (BGP, OSPF, RIPv2, EIGRP)
WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, VPN)
VSAT and wireless internet and routing;
Familiarity with: VPNs, VOIP, BGP, VLAN, Large Scale Wireless Deployments
Good verbal, written, and editing skills in Dari, Pashto and English.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT.
• Industry Certification (CCIE, CCNP) is required (CCIE is preferred)
• 5 Years of practical experience with Cisco high end devices
• Should have practical experience with BGP and EIGRP protocols
• Hands-on experience with MikroTik routers
