The meeting of The Leadership Body of Afghan Telecom Company

Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Fahim Hashimi presided the meeting of Afghan Telecom which was held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

At the beginning, the report on the implementation the services of Afghan Telecom Company were discussed and evaluated and emphasis was placed on collective and transparent decisions in the affairs of this company.

At the meeting Minister Hashimi emphasized on collective and transparent decisions and saying that from now on, all decisions related to the company must be taken collectively by the Executive Board.

He added any dismissal of individuals and employees in this company should be stopped unless it is based on principles, necessity or aiming reforms.

The meeting also assessed the services of Afghan Telecom in various dimensions and instructed the relevant authorities to identify possible challenges and shortcomings and take action to address them as soon as possible.
