The joint meeting of the Ministry of Communications with the Transportation and Communications Commission of the Upper House emphasizes the strengthening of this sector

The meeting was held by the chairmanship of the Acting and Deputy (Policy and Program) Minister of MCIT Ahmad Massood Latifurai, with the participation of the Chairman and members of the Transportation and Communications Commission of Meshrano Jirga, directors of various departments with the aim of how to strengthen and improve the services of the telecommunication sector Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

At the outset, the chairman of the transportation and telecommunications Commission of the Meshrano Jirga Mr. Lutfullah Baba, spoke in detail about the achievements and challenges of this sector.

Then the technical advisor of the commission raised the questions regarding e-government, the law of electronic transactions and signatures, postal services, digital CASA, cybersecurity, monitoring the quality services of Telecommunication networks, real-time, TDF, and implementation of policies.

After that, the Deputy Policy and Program Minister Ahmad Massood Latif Rai provided detailed clarifications to the questions and concerns of this commission.

He instructed the officials to provide answers in writing to the questions of the mentioned commission.

At the end of the meeting, the chairmen and members of the Commission, while appreciating the detailed explanations of the leadership of the MCIT pledged to cooperate with the ministry in the strengthening of this sector.
