The final polling session was held on the regulation draft of the MCIT’s duties

The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Masooma Khavari, with the presence of the heads and officials of various departments on Monday, July 5, 2021.

First, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology spoke about the goals and importance of the plan.

She instructed all directors and officials to share their projects and ideas with the legal department for finalizing and enriching the plan as soon as possible.

The finalization and approval of this draft, on the one hand, will specify the duties and competencies of the MCIT in its various extents of work, including digitalization and leadership of processes related to the information technology sector, and on the other hand, prevents job interference between departments
