Innovations Support Program Fund Management by a Firm in Afghanistan

Package C2.5 of Afghanistan ICT Sector Development Project of MCIT

This is to inform all concerned that Afghanistan Information Management Services (AIMS), with Office at house 17; Street-1;  Behind Ghazi High School; Karta-e- Char; Kabul -Afghanistan, has been selected for the advertized Consultancy Assignment.

Details are given as under:-

1) Consultants who submitted their technical and financial Proposals:

1. Afghanistan Information Management Services (AIMS) Kabul - Afghanistan
2. Awista-Kabul - Afghanistan

2)  Technical scores  awarded to each Consultant: AIMS - 93 out of 100; Awista - 80.125 out of 100

3) Financial scores awarded to each consultant: AIMS - 100 out of 100; Awista - 98.29 out of 100

4) Weightage to technical score - 80% and to financial score - 20%

5) Combined technical and financial scores: AIMS - 94.40 out of 100; Awista - 83.75 out of 100

6) Ranking of each Consultant based on combined scores: AIMS -Rank I; Awista - Rank II

7) Name of the Winning Consultant: AIMS

8) Contract Price: 499,885.71 USD (inclusive of  20% Tax, as applicable in Afghanistan)

9) Duration of the Contract: 42 months

10) Summary Scope of the Contract:

Under the Project, planned Consultancy Services for  Innovations Support Program Fund Management includes two main components:

a) Management of the Innovation Support Program as a whole, in accordance with the approved Operation Manual   

b) Managing the specific awards Programs for                                                        

(1) Student competitions; and                                                                                             

(2) ICT Champions awards.
