Minister of Communications and Information Technology meets with Chairman of Independent Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Commission

The meeting focused on the addition of the new positions, evaluating of existing vacancies, exams and recruitment process.

Currently, there are 298 vacant positions within the organizational structure of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The structural limit of the MCIT is about 2792 positions, 1100 of those are supportive positions which makes 50 % of ministry’s organizational structure. 

During the meeting, the Structure Directorate of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission was tasked to cooperate with MCIT in the process of hiring the 200 vacant positions.

It was also decided that the new positions should be added according to the level of formation (structure) and the budget.
