Meeting to keep communications networks active as the elections go on

Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Afghan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA) held a joint meeting to keep telecommunications networks active in 34 provinces.

Thanking the ATRA Office and Security Forces, minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Fahim Hashimi expressed that despite Taliban’s threatening all the telecommunication networks will continue their activities on Election Day, and citizens will go to the polls calmly.

Minister Hashimi said the government's support for the telecommunications companies and their commitment to defending democracy in Afghanistan are praiseworthy, and also he urged the public to support the telecommunication networks.
