Officials from MCIT Began the Trees Planting Program in Kabul

H.E Eng Amirzai Sangin Minister of Communications and IT of I.R of Afghanistan, Deputy Ministers and MCIT Management team were planting trees at the Mahtab Qalah area of the Kabul City in order to begin a country-wide celebration of Farmer’s Day in Afghanistan on the occasion of   the Year 1390.


Farmer’s Day, also known as Nowruz, is an ancient, annual Afghan festival which celebrates both the beginning of spring and the New Year. The observances usually last two weeks, culminating on the first day of the Afghan New Year, March 21, and corresponds to the first day of the Persian Calendar.
