Activities of the Ministry of Communications in the regional cooperation during FY 1399
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has signed memorandum of understanding with neighboring countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, in order to improve the capacity and quality of telecommunication and Internet services and the growth of the digital economy in the country. The following achievements have been gained during the fiscal year 1399.
The draft roadmap for digitalization and tripartite economic cooperation between Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has been prepared.
The draft roadmap for cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in the development of the exchange of telecommunication services has been prepared.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan on the development of telecommunications, postal and capacity building services.
