Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Holds a 9-month internship exam for 121 trainees

The internship and practical work training exam was launched by the Digital CASA department of MCIT for nine months, with the participation of 120 women and girls graduated from computer science on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

The minister of Communications and Information Technology Masooma Khavari, while speaking at the opening ceremony of the exam, first welcomed the participants and said the purpose of this program is to pave the way for attracting female graduates "who have less than a year of work experience" in the offices.

Addressing the participating women, minister Khavari said: that after graduating from this training course, get application forms, apply for positions; I will support you get appropriate jobs."

The Gender and communications specialist at the Digital CASA Department Wajma Kohistani said that: after the exam, 40 people will be admitted to this training program and will be introduced to the technical departments of the ministry for 9 months to be trained in practical IT or computer science departments.

The participants considered the holding of such training courses essential and effective in encouraging women in the field of administrative activities. They also urged for attracting more young people through such training programs in the offices.
