The payment process for heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities will be simplified and electronic in six months
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation worth 13 million AFN with the Ministry of State for Martyrs and Disabled affairs on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
By implementing the provisions of this agreement all payment process for heirs of martyrs and disabled would be simplified and electronic.
Commending the Asan Khedmat Office’s cooperation with government departments acting minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Fahim Hasimi said that we are striving to facilitate public services through making it electronic and to provide easy and transparent services in government offices.
Minister Hashimi added that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has plan to establish the branches of Asan Khedmat in Khost and Kandahar provinces in order to provide better services to the people by promoting e-government and transparency and to eliminate the gap between the people and the government, which will then be developed in all the country.
Mohammad Fihim Hashimi said that in addition to conducting capacity building programs and workshops for the staff of state minister for martyrs and disabled affairs, MCIT will design and build public service centers to that ministry for providing more facilities to customers.
Subsequently, Mr. Laldin Aryoubi, Minister of State for Martyrs and Disabled Affairs, thanked the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Asan Khedmat Office saying that the efforts and cooperation of the Ministry of Communications is of more importance and worthwhile in facilitating public services and fighting against corruption.
