Mohammed Fahim Hashimi acting minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) met with Mr. Ehsanullah Bayat chairman and some of the leadership members of the Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) on Monday, January 7, 2020.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the issues related to connecting Afghan Wireless to the Fiber Optic Ring and providing quality and reasonable price Internet services.

Minister Hashimi emphasized that: "The quality and low-priced internet is the right of every citizen and our main goal is to provide better environment and to promote the private sector with good service delivery.

Chairman of Afghan Wireless Communications Company Mr. Ehsanullah Bayat also mentioned the company's continued cooperation to standardize telecommunications services, promising to work to reduce internet prices and improve the quality of Internet services.
